A Younger Generation
For my second authoethnography, I will be looking at the growing popularity of stocks in a younger generation. Everyday more and more teenagers are getting involved in trading, making this form of investment ageless. It will be interesting to compare and contrast the perspectives and ideologies of both younger and older generations. For this project, I will be interviewing my mom and my brother, both who are very involved in trading. I will display this diminishing gap between generations through my artifact - Robinhood (a trading platform). A scholarly article about how more high schoolers and undergraduates are following the markets will help solidify my argument. In addition, I will present a comic about how quickly one can lose money and how people have to extremely smart and careful when investing in the market.
